What is RSP?

Remote SIM Provisioning (RSP) refers to the digital infrastructure that enables mobile operators to manage eSIM profiles remotely, mirroring the functionality of traditional SIM card logistics but doing so entirely online. At 1GLOBAL, we’ve built our RSP solution not as a retrofit but as a digital-native platform.

Entitlement

Unlike legacy providers rooted in chip manufacturing, we are a network operator ourselves. This allows us to build and iterate with real-world use cases in mind, validated through direct deployment to our own customers. The result is a flexible, robust RSP solution that is purpose-built for the realities of modern telecommunications.

1GLOBAL’s platform supports the GSMA SGP.21 architecture for consumer eSIM, with a secure geo-redundant SM-DP+ server where operator profiles are stored and delivered to devices. Customers can activate a profile by scanning a QR code or simply clicking a link, triggering a secure download from the SM-DP+. Alternatively, profiles can be remotely pushed to the device using its embedded ID via global discovery services.

1GLOBAL is fully integrated with Apple Lookup Service (ALS), Google Discovery Service, and the GSMA Root Discovery Service, enabling seamless push activation across all major device ecosystems. Operators can also connect their back-end systems through the ES2+ interface, allowing end-to-end automation of customer onboarding, entitlements, and provisioning workflows.

This combination of robust architecture and flexible integration options ensures a scalable, secure, and user-friendly deployment experience for both operators and end users.
